 2.1 - Fool Moon:

Estranged childhood friends, Matt and Chris, reunite under awkward circumstances.

Matt - Matt’s lived a solitary life since around the time he hit puberty. It hit him pretty hard plus the extra added that he is, in fact, a warebeast and can change from human to flesh rending monster during full moons, high tension scenarios and if drunk enough (most warefolk find this out awkwardly), kind of whenever they want, actually. By not following common warebeast conventions Matt was ostracized from his family and ware-clan and has pretty much fended for himself for the last few years.

Chris - Boyfriend of Tracey and once friend of Matt. Chris and Matt used to hang out all the time, but, after some youthful innocent sleep over experimentation, Matt, after some soul searching, publicly came out as gay. Kids can be pretty cruel and so as not to implicate himself Chris distanced himself from Matt and they went separate ways. When Tracey came up with her money making scheme, for some reason, Matt popped into Chris’ head and was the first, and only, person Chris attempted to get involved with this little plot.

Tracey - Chris' girlfriend and, between you and me, she’s, like, really a bitch! I don’t mean to denigrate but she just sucks as a person. Cruel, selfish and manipulative it’s hard to understand why anyone could spend time with her but she has that magic where she can manipulate her way into someone’s life and make them think they need her. Chris definitely wasn’t the first victim of this pattern.

Werebeasts - There are all sorts of warebeasts. Yes, there are werewolves but there are also warebirds, warefish, warerodents etc. Often assumed to be a werewolf, Matt prefers to be called “warebeast” even though he is in fact a werewolf. Most warefolk prefer this lack of distinction. Each warefolk change or “turn” from human under similar circumstances and generally follow strict codes of conduct. One is either born a Warebeast or turned into one by getting bitten on a full moon.

The Bug - A really old car Chris put together over some years as a hobby. Very uncomfortable in the back, though.

Background: I had a goal to use all of the Universal monsters. If  they weren't shown then they were at least mentioned, so there's that. The desire to have an Evil Dead amount of blood spray out of something. The rest wrote itself. Looking for figure model inspiration, I was being bombarded with social posts of friends and collaborators Chris Stanley (StanChris) and Art Bezrukavenko, so they served as models for the guys.
